Look at me, doing a sort-of-proper fashion post. Who am I?
Before I (maybe) branch out into proper ‘photos in the street’ fashion posts (they really scare me, okay?) I thought I’d test the water, just styling some jeans up. These jeans are my new faithfulls, admittedly not ideal for the hot weather, I’m sweating my backside off, but they’re still super versatile and easy to dress up and dress down.
After a week of wearing pencil skirts and blouses, it’s so nice to just chill out in your comfy jeans and a super comfy top. I find the shape of this crop to SO flattering with the long sleeves as it really accentuates your figure. On the weekend I just love chilling out in jeans and crop, mainly because I can’t wear them during the week and I feel like that much of a rebel.
These jeans are also a night-out staple. I don’t like wearing a dress or skirt out clubbing because it’s SO much easier to dance without the risk of accidentally flashing your knickers. I love the body with these jeans because of how low the jeans sit. This gives a full view of the pattern too, giving it the main focus. I also love the dropped back, giving the whole look a dramatic and seductive edge. Chelsea Boots are also a must for me on a night out. They stop me from being too small but I’m an absolute athlete in these, no teetering around in stilettos for me!
Now don’t get me wrong. I feel super sassy and powerful and independent in my pencil skirt and power dresses, but sometimes I like to dress it down a bit and sneak some jeans in. And also hope my manager doesn’t notice. I think jeans and a blazer always looks powerful and strong while monochrome colours make it super professional. Couldn’t resist putting a bold lip though, still gotta stay bright. Statement jewellery could also make this look more adventurous, a good outfit to mix and match.
And that’s that. My first sort-of-proper fashion post. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to get my boyfriend or photographer friend to take outfit photos of me. Who knows?!
And I’ve also FINALLY got Bloglovin’, you can find me here, give it a follow!:
