Hello February!

We finally made it through what’s felt like the longest January EVER. And now it’s February, the month of love, romance and…pancakes.

It’s been an…interesting month. Both personally, and you know. Globally. But amongst the sexism, misogyny and racism that’s gone on over the last week, there have been a few nuggets of good. I’ve got my fabulous job, I’ve finished counselling, I’ve had an INCREDIBLE blogging month, I can’t help but think February is gonna be even more so.

I have so many plans this month and I’m SO excited for them. It’s been a fab month and I can tell this next one will be EVEN BETTER. I just got paid for the first time since August and I think it could have been one of the best moments of my life so far. MONEY. However, since this month is so busy, my money will go back out raaaather quickly. I’m heading to Paris on the last weekend of the year and my to-do list is about as long as my arm, full of things to pay for (fun) but also some challenges like teaching Joe to take photos for my blog while we’re away. Soon to be blogger boyfriend?

So glad I’ve gotten back into photography!

So somewhere during these many many plans I have, I have to fit in a lovely load of blog posts, including the odd Valentine’s post, some more reviews and of course some Weekly Trivia.

Now, the goals I set for this month (and I know numbers aren’t everything but they definitely motivate me) were:

Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

Gotta get those Paris plans!

Blog Followers: 200

Twitter Followers: 700

Instagram Followers: 250

And drumroll please… My final numbers were:

Blog Followers: 253

Twitter Followers: 752

Instagram Followers: 280

So I actually hit all my targets! I don’t know if that’s ever actually happened! I’ve never been more proud of the content I’ve produced and I’m so organised at the moment I’ve even planned out every post for the whole of February already! So as always, I’m making plans for motivation and here are next months goals!:

Blog Followers: 300 – I’m pacing myself

Twitter Followers: 800

Instagram: 300 – I have VERY low expectations on this. We all know about the Instagram problems.

I think if I keep hammering away at my blog, these might just be do-able. And I know I’ve kept saying it, but I’m SO EXCITED for this next month. EXCITED.
